Magazine »Was bleibt vom Menschen«
The magazine »Was bleibt vom Menschen« was designed within a free project under the topic »Big data – artificial and artistical intelligence«. The brochure takes a critical position by asking how far the technical process will go in future. It shows the fears and risks that occur in a world full of artificial intelligence.
We worked on a photo series out of technical scenes on which illustrations of human parts were scratched, using hydrochloric acid. With this brutal way of destroying the photos we force humanity onto our technical world.
The photo series is accompanied by quotations of George Orwell and Sigmund Freud, additionally our own thoughts and feelings about the topic AI were added by writing poem-like texts.
In total, this work brings out the repulsive, grotesque side of the unhumanization caused by technique.
